Jagdish Bhagwati is a University Professor of Economics, Law, and International Relations at Columbia University and Director of the Raj Center on Indian Economic Policies. He has a B.A. from Sydenham College, a B.A. in Economics from Cambridge University, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Professor Bhagwati is a leading scholar on free trade, international trade, globalization, and international economics.
