Brian Martin is a Professor of Social Sciences at the University of Wollongong and the Vice President of Whistleblowers Australia. He earned his B.A. in Physics from Rice University, M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Sydney, and Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Sydney.
Professor Martin has published extensively on communication studies, environmental issues, peace studies, the politics of technology, and happiness. However, the majority of his work deals with some aspect of freedom of speech or suppression of dissent. He is a prolific author and all of his works (with the excepts of some books) are available for free on his website.
