William Beeman is a Professor of Anthropology and Chair of the Department at the University of Minnesota. He earned his B.A. in Anthropology from Wesleyan University and M.A. and Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Chicago.
Professor Beeman’s research is focused on the Middle East and has been recognized as one of the foremost scholars in this area for the past 30 years.
