Guobin Yang is an Associate Professor of Communication and Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania. Professor Yang earned his Ph.D. in English Literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University and his Ph.D. in Sociology from New York University.
His research focuses on digital media and social theory, global communication, and media and politics in China.
