Sonika Akter is an Assistant Professor of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore. She earned her B.S.S. and M.S.S. in Economics from the University of Dhaka, M.A. in Economics from York University, and Ph.D. in Environmental Management and Development from Australian National University.
Professor Akter researches climate change mitigation and adaptation policy, agriculture and food security, gender equity, and women empowerment.
