Giovanni M. Carbone is an Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Milan and a Senior Research Associate at the Institute for International Political Studies. Professor Carbone is also a Senior Visiting Fellow at the Crisis States Research Network at the London School of Economics. He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science and Development Studies from the London School of Economics.
Professor Carbone researches issues related to democratization and economic growth in sub-Saharan Africa.
