Axel Gelfert is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the National University of Singapore. He is also an Associate Fellow at Tembusu College and an Associate at National University of Singapore’s Asia Research Institute. Professor Gelfert earned his Dipl.Physics in Theoretical Physics from Humboldt University and Ph.D. in the History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Cambridge.
Professor Gelfert researches the philosophy of technology and technoscience, epistemology of testimony, philosophy of science, and the philosophy of mind, language, and social cognition.
