Raphael Cohen-Almagor is a Professor of Politics and Chair of the Department at the University of Hull. Professor Cohen-Almagor was the Founder of the Center for Democratic Studies at the University of Haifa and was the Yitzhak Rabin-Fulbright Visiting Professor at UCLA School of Law. He earned his B.A. in Political Science, Sociology and Anthropology and M.A. in Political Science from Tel Aviv University and D.Phil. in Political Theory from the University of Oxford.
His research deals broadly with political science, law, Israel studies, philosophy, media ethics, medical ethics, education, sociology and history.
