Asem Khalil is the H.H. Shaikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani Chair in Constitutional and International Law and Associate Professor of Public Law at Birzeit University. He earned his J.D. from Lateran University, M.P.A. from the National School of Administration, France, and Ph.D. in Public Law from Fribourg University.
Professor Khalil’s research deals with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with an emphasis on Palestinian constitution-making.
