Waheeda Amien is an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Cape Town. She has a B.A. LL.B. from the University of Cape Town, LL.M. from the University of the Western Cape, and Ph.D. in Law from the University of Ghent.
Professor Amien specializes in legal pluralism and Muslim family law in South Africa.
