Jon Kvist is a Professor of Society and Globalization at Roskilde University. Professor Kvist also co-founded the European Network of Social Policy Analysts (ESPAnet) that connects researchers in the area of European social policy through various means, including conferences, workshops, and seminars. He earned his M.P.P. and M.P.A. from Roskilde University and Ph.D. in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Odense.s
Professor Kvist’s research is divided into three areas: comparative welfare state research; the EU and the national welfare state; and methodology.
