Astrid Nordin is a Professor in the Department of Politics, Philosophy and Religion and Director of the China Centre at Lancaster University. She is also an Associate Research Fellow at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs.
Professor Nordin’s research is concentrated at the intersection of contemporary Chinese politics and international affairs, with a special interest in the deployment of concepts from Chinese history. She has also studied Chinese censorship and media.
