Nadège Rolland is a Senior Fellow for Political and Security Affairs at the National Bureau of Asian Research. Prior to joining NBR, she worked as an analyst and senior advisor on the Asia-Pacific region to the French Ministry of Defense (1994-2014) as well as a research analyst for the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies. She earned her MsC in Chinese Language and Contemporary Chinese Studies from the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations and her MsC in Strategic Studies from the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies.
Her research focuses primarily on China’s foreign and defense policy with a specific interest in the implications China’s rise has had on the regional dynamics of the Asia-Pacific region.
